Ah, Wade has a real job now. Sadly, that may make it much more difficult to get him to build a custom frame for you. He wrote me that he should be caught up on customer orders by late spring. But, when he gets caught up he’ll be building for himself, his son and his partner. I can’t imagine how hard it must be to make it as an independent framebuilder. It didn’t surprise me that he took a full-time job. Definitely sounds like things are feeling good in Vulture Land. Rock on, Wade! (Jessica and Rio too!)
I’ve more or less finished moving. Now I live right near Lake Champlain. It’s about a one minute ride to the beach. (Not that you’d want to ride down there today = -7° F. A little chilly for a roll by the lake.) Should now be able to get my ski tuning/bike shop set up again after about 4 years in storage. Excited. Nice space in cellar for it. All in good time. I’m knackered this morning…literally like a tired old farm animal.
Not too much else to report. Thanks to all my readers around the world. Thanks to Google I know I have readers from Alaska, Canada, Mexico, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, the UK, France, Portugal, Poland, Germany, Italy, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Iran, Thailand, India….and more. Crazy. Who knew fixing was so popular around the world…
Here’s something I really hope I’m not responsible for in any way. Ah, it wouldn’t be the worst thing if he got some ideas from me. Check it out:
